Getting Started
Install Crawltable and run your first crawl in under five minutes.
Welcome to Crawltable — the local-first SEO & GEO crawler for the modern web. This guide will get you from download to your first crawl in a few minutes.
Installation
Download the latest version for your platform from the download page.
- macOS — available for both Apple Silicon and Intel
- Windows — 64-bit, Windows 10 or later
Open the installer and follow the prompts. On macOS, drag Crawltable to your Applications folder. On Windows, run the .exe and follow the setup wizard.
Running your first crawl
- Open Crawltable and click New Crawl
- Enter your site's URL (e.g.
https://example.com) - Choose your crawl settings — the defaults work well for most sites
- Click Start Crawl
Crawltable will begin crawling your site with full JavaScript rendering. You'll see pages populate in real time as they're discovered and analyzed.
Understanding the results
Once the crawl completes, you'll see a data table with every page Crawltable found. Each row includes:
- URL and status code
- Title, meta description, and H1
- Canonical URL and indexability status
- Word count, content hash, and internal/external link counts
- SEO score and GEO score based on our analysis engine
Click any row to open the page detail view, where you'll find the full extraction data, semantic embeddings, and LLM chunking preview.
